Description

The Selling Partner Communications team is looking for a Sr. Manager, Communications Strategy to design and lead our global messaging frameworks to inform and inspire our Selling Partners.

The Sr. Manager, Communications Strategy for Selling Partner Communications will lead the team responsible for defining and implementing the global communication strategy, including go-to-market and overarching channel framework, to engage and inspire selling partners worldwide. This high-visibility role will shape the communications roadmap and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver a cohesive, effective selling partner communication program.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the global go-to-market strategy and overarching communications strategy to improve the seller experience, empower business growth, and drive improved seller sentiment.

  • Lead a team to deliver a comprehensive, coordinated content calendar, channel plan, and engagement initiatives that keep partners informed and empowered.

  • Collaborate with product, program, editorial, PR, and legal teams to ensure selling partner communications are coordinated, on-message, and compliant.

  • Create a comprehensive communications calendar, content plan, and channel strategy to keep selling partners informed and empowered.

  • Establish standardized reporting and dashboards to track the performance and impact of the communications program.

  • Develop a structured feedback loop to share seller insights and communications performance with internal stakeholders.

  • Leverage data and seller feedback to continuously optimize the go-to-market and communications program.

  • Partner with external teams as needed to deliver high-quality, scalable communications.

  • Act as a strategic communications leader, providing counsel and thought leadership to senior stakeholders.

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team, providing coaching, development opportunities, and oversight to help them excel.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously evolve the selling partner communications approach

About the team

The Selling Partner Communities organization (Communities) builds lasting connections with, and drives the success of our Selling Partners (SPs).

Our products, such as news and forums, are currently used by millions of Selling Partners worldwide to engage with Amazon and foster an active and inclusive community and information exchange among SPs. These products also provide valuable insights into Selling Partner sentiment and issues.

We are currently re-imagining how we enable our SPs to engage with other sellers, form Communities, and interact with Amazon.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience managing teams

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in traditional and emerging media channels including TV, OOH, cinema, digital display, online video and paid social

  • Experience leading across multiple locales

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $232,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
