Senior Lead Technologist, CT Scan

Job Description

Purpose & Scope:

Maintains quality control for the CT Department and supervises technical and support staff. This position requires initiative and independent judgment. In an effort to maintain consistency of quality throughout the department, the Day, Evening, Overnight and Outpatient Pavilion Lead Technologists will report to the Senior Lead technologist. The senior lead technologist will report to the Radiology Director/Assistant Director. Certain functions of the Director/Assistant Director may be delegated on occasion. As a CT Technologist, the Senior Lead Technologist must perform a variety of technical procedures that will require ingenuity and initiative in applying prescribed CT scans for diagnosis.

Education:

Graduate Acccredited Program in Radiologic Technology Required.

Experience:

3 Years Cat Scan Experience Required; and,

3 Years Supervisor Experience Preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (CT) Required; and

BLS Certification Required.
