Description

Would you like to help shape the future of payments at one of Amazon's most profitable businesses? The Amazon Payment Product team is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic organization. Our team develops applications that power Amazon's global CoBrand and Private label credit cards, along with the world's largest rewards catalog, Shop with Points.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll take ownership of testing quality assurance for new customer features and supporting architecture, working alongside our development engineers. You'll develop test cases and scenarios to ensure exceptional customer experiences across our payment solutions. Our technology stack spans Distributed Engineering, Machine Learning, Big Data, and customer-facing mobile and web platforms.

Our mission is to create the world's most customer-centric cobranded credit cards. We achieve this through close collaboration with business partners, financial institutions, and internal Amazon teams. This role offers significant opportunities for innovation, including patent development, and provides high visibility with leadership. You'll be part of a fast-paced, agile team that's breaking new ground in the payments space while delivering substantial business value.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience

  • BS degree in computer science or equivalent, or 4+ years of technical work experience

  • Experience in manual testing

  • Experience running or troubleshooting code in at least one modern programming language

  • Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in API & Mobile testing

  • Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
