What You’ll Be Doing
This Intern opportunity is a 10-week paid Internship beginning May/June 2025 (date to be confirmed). Interns will be assigned to our Arlington, VA office.
Cadmus is seeking an intern to provide overall support to the International Development Division (IDD) Operations and MEL Team. The duration of the internship is flexible, and a reduced or part-time schedule is possible. The intern will learn about project operations processes, and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) methods and will work across six Lines of Business within IDD through participation in project and business operations activities and supporting project management and monitoring and learning processes. The intern will report to the IDD Director of Operations.

Responsibilities
Support IDD project management process improvements such as drafting SOPs, manuals, reviewing current project management tools and systems, and monitoring different tools for efficiency
Assist with development of tools for activity planning, deliverable tracking, financial management and reporting, templates, trackers, and other relevant documents to improve Cadmus’ Operations and MEL processes
Provide administrative support in drafting consulting and vendor agreements, invoice processing, file management and other administrative support, as needed
Assist with field operations, start-up and close-out activities as well as collecting documentation required for in-country registration/de-registration and related processes
Support corporate planning, reporting, and operations
Provide support for the Senior Vice President of IDD as needed
Support development of an information management system to consolidate results and data (key performance indicators) across IDD projects
Support development of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) tools and templates
Assist with the design and content uploading to IDD SharePoint (MEL knowledge management platform for IDD consolidating results from IDD projects)
Qualifications
The internship is open to Graduate and Undergraduate students or recent graduates with an interest in international development and who are pursuing a relevant degree such as International Relations, Economics, International Development, Political Science, Finance, Business, Social Sciences, Public Policy, etc
Excellent English writing skills
Strong Communications and Interpersonal Skills
Computer skills including MS Suite (Word, PPT, Excel, and Teams) and ability to manipulate PDFs, such as in Foxit or similar software
Additional Information:
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.
Interns are eligible to participate in the Cadmus 401(k) program if they are 21 years or older.
The hourly rate for this position will depend on the student's degree level. For undergraduate students the hourly rate is $25 and for graduate students it is $30.
