CACI is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to join our Team in Arlington, VA.

The Project Engineering Manager is a critical leadership position overseeing a team of project managers, SCRUM masters, Agilists, and SMEs in the design, prototype and implementation of technology solutions.

In this roll you will work directly with the customer as part of a greenfield enterprise IT environment effort to develop a technology roadmap identifying all engineering and operations tasks. This candidate will be regularly expected to present technical/product strategy and architectural choices to the CIO.

Successful candidates will be strong technically, have previous experience supporting the development, launch and maintenance of multiple technology solutions following defined implementation frameworks and best practices for handoff to operations.

About the Role:

  • Responsible for the management and oversight of 15+ senior technical engineers, project managers, and business analysts providing direction and assignments that align to project schedules and milestones

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large enterprise scale new technology solutions to include initial requirements assessment of OEM provider capabilities, design, testing and deployment

  • Provides thought leadership while managing the team that is responsible for all aspects of technology strategy, design, architecture, adoption, new service onboarding and operations.

  • Oversee technical discussions with senior client executives that drive decisions and implementation.

  • Drive collaboration across security, engineering and network teams to ensure unified solution architecture.

  • Put agreed-upon ideas and direction into action, ensuring clear oversight and accountability, and driving for clarity and speed of decisions. Monitor the effectiveness and progress of key initiatives.

  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; owner mentality

Required Qualifications :

  • Ability to attain DHS EOD

  • BA + 10 years’ applicable experience, AA + 12 years’ applicable experience, MA + 7 years applicable experience or 16 years’ experience

  • 10+ years of broadly based information systems experience, including 5+ years’ experience in large enterprise environments focusing on cloud, infrastructure and technology

  • Experience in architecting, designing, developing, and managing enterprise infrastructure and Azure cloud environments.

  • Experience with SAFe

  • At least five years of progressively responsible management experience of large enterprise technology organizations, programs, or projects.

  • Passionate about team member development and working with internal and external partners to deliver Cloud and Infrastructure technologies and support operations.

  • Knowledge of deploying and maintaining enterprise level datacenters both on premise and in the Cloud (third-party provider) environments; Experience with developing a hybrid cloud model with on-premises and cloud autonomy; Demonstrated experience transforming IT infrastructure and moving organizations towards a mature cloud-based service delivery model.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$119,800 - $263,600
