Position Summary:

We are looking for asenior-levelProduction Leaderthat has experienceacquiring, analyzing, evaluating, extracting, and compilingCADRG/ECRG products in support of standard product requirements. Theindividualshall use knowledge of NGAs standard product as it relates to AOR, Chart Series, and marginalia data for press operations to include creating and providing information on Mapping, Charting, and Geodesy (MCandG), Foundation GEOINT (FG), Content, and Safety of Navigation (SoN) for ingest and population into a CADRG/ECRG title. Theindividualshallproduce anddisseminate CADRG/ECRG productsin accordance withNGA foreign release guidelines.

Thesenior-level Production Leaderwill support a team in Arnold, Missouri.

Responsibilities:

  • Support CADRG Government Team Lead asrequiredin communicating with customers and vendors both inside and outside the agency, other government agencies, NGA International Offices for co-production, and Security Offices for classification of products

``` - Add metadata to disparate databases asrequiredto support current CADRG production

``` - Support the CADRG Government Lead toestablishand manage detailed production goals, strategies, and processes.

``` - Create, update, and manage geospatial information system databases and products.

``` - Research using ArcGIS and QGIS software and common office business software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, and internet browsers) and use internet and other general research tools. Sourcesregularly usedinclude:native maps, secondary source maps, historic maps used for extraction and comparison, textual documents, Internet sources and imagery at various resolutions. Services will result in the creation of shapefiles, geo-databases, and data retrieval/storage

``` - Work on multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines under fast-paced conditions; must be available to perform duties in a multiple-shift environment, as necessary

``` - Attend meetings with NGA government personnel whenrequested. Through meetings and conferences, provideaccurateinformation to influence partner decisions and points of view in favor of NGA and organizational objectives

``` - Use GEODEC software to geo-reference and de-colla required charts for production and applyappropriate metadata. Team members are expected to learn the software thoroughly and have a firm understanding of georeferencing procedures

``` - Use ACCORD software (Client and Cloud) to charts into CDRG and ECRG. Team members are expected to learn the software thoroughly and over time, have a keen understanding of CADRG and ECRG products

``` - Review CADRG and ECRG data following checklists, updating spreadsheets, and communicating status are a part of this effort

``` - Users shall view and review products using thesoftwareFalcon View. Training will beprovidedand team members are expected to learn the capabilitiesrequiredfor the CADRG/ECRG team

``` - Team members shallassistthe CADRG lead with testing procedures, offering feedback and notes.

``` - Team members shall communicate at times with the CADRG development team, always looping in the CADRG Lead, for technical issues and troubleshooting. Team members may also attend technical meetings the pertain to the creation of CDRG and ECRG.

``` - Team members shallbe responsible forcopying completed data to theappropriate datastores on the Gateway and at times, run scripts to ensure data is formatted correctly. Putty software is used for these purposes.

``` - Participate in Artwork creation to accompany CADRG and ECRG deliveries usingRimageCD Designer Software. This may require some employees to have DTO privileges to access CD/DVD drives on NGA computers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires TS/SCI Clearance

``` - 10+ years of relevant experience(A combination of years of experience and professional certifications/trainings can be used inconjunction witha degree)

``` - Knowledge ofand experience withvarious NGA products and maps to includeCADRG/ECRG,topographic, hydrographic, and aeronautical

``` - GPC-F

```{=html}

``` - Knowledgeof and experience withGeoreferencing

``` - Knowledge of and experience withdata analysis and analytics

```{=html}

``` - Knowledge of and experience withRimageand Bartender software output files

``` - Knowledge of and experiencewith ArcGIS/ArcGIS Pro suite of tools

``` - Experience programming in NET, Python,C++and/or Java.

  • Expertisein both GEODEC and ACCORD software suite
