We take our role seriously and as part of the Energy, Resilience and Sustainability (ERS) Division, you will collaborate with experts to provide comprehensive policy, planning, and implementation services to deliver solutions that address critical occupational safety and health issues and support the military mission.

[[The ERS Division is seeking a qualified and proactive candidate to advise a senior Department of the Air Force client on occupational safety and health issues. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on a small, client-facing team and will be able to apply robust data analytics to identify and implement solutions in a deadline-driven environment. Everyday duties will include managing multiple client projects centered on policy development and annual safety budget reporting requirements. This is a hybrid position located in the Washington, D.C area, with the flexibility to work from home while participating in some in-person client and team discussions in the Pentagon or at CTC's Crystal City office on a regular schedule.

  • Respond to inquiries and tasking related to occupational safety from DoD and Air Force senior leadership, Congress, OSHA, and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze safety and health programmatic and financial data to identify trends that can be used to manage the Safety program element and reduce mishaps and mitigate risks.
  • Manage safety program element analysis and reporting platforms to address Air Force, DoD, Congressional and other requests for information.
  • Use a firm command of language and presentation techniques in order to relate results of findings (statistical or otherwise) at the highest levels and in layman's terms the client will understand and be able to take action. Support compilation of SOH and mishap information and data, draft briefings and papers, and other documents as requested on SOH topics for senior Air Force leaders.
  • Identify innovative policies and technological solutions with direct benefit and contribution to the Departments occupational safety goals.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Department of the Air Force Safety Center, Installations Support Panel, Planning Department, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (OSD) Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE) and other stakeholders, to implement best and emerging practices for safety information integration, reconciliation, and processing across all phases and areas.
