Nutrition Services Diet Clerk

Job Description

Purpose & Scope:

Under the direction of the Food and Nutrition Services Director and following therapeutic standards established by the Clinical Dietitians, the Diet Clerk is responsible for the management, accuracy and maintenance of the food service department information database (CBORD). Performs a variety of tasks which relate to the transfer of information concerning patient diet, meal selection preferences and complaints. Additionally responsible for ensuring patient menus and nourishment reflect current diet orders.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

Experience in Writing is required.

Experience in Basic Mathematics is required.

None.
