This position is located in the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Infrastructure Security Division (ISD), Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff (ACOS). The professional selected for this role will be responsible for providing program analysis and support as well as maintaining lines of communication regarding ISD Executive Secretariat (Exec-Sec) policies and procedures with internal and external stakeholders. Typical work assignments include: Reviewing, assigning, prioritizing, tracking all incoming and outgoing correspondence and tasks and composing responses for ISD ACOS; Maintaining communication channels regarding Exec-Sec policies and procedures and the status of tasks clearance with ISD and internal stakeholders; Evaluating performance and progress of projects, identification of materiel weaknesses, making forecasts and projections and recommending actions as a basis for timely decisions; Providing guidance and authoritative technical advice to a wide range of audiences including senior leadership; Responding to branch office inquiries relating to status of priority-controlled taskers; Preparing and providing accurate and timely status reports and metrics for ISD senior leadership; Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in refining and developing process improvement techniques to meet emerging needs and goals, overcome obstacles, and interpret and apply new legislative regulations, DHS and/or CISA directives, and CISA administrative policies. You must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance suitable for Federal employment as determined by a background investigation. Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements. One-year probationary period may be required. This position may be designated as essential personnel. Essential personnel must be able to serve during continuity of operation events without regard to declarations of liberal leave or government closures due to weather, protests, and acts of terrorism or lack of funding. Qualifications To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required experience for the respective grade level in which you are applying. You qualify for the GS-13 grade level, if you have: EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level (or equivalent) performing the following duties: Reviewing, assigning, prioritizing, and tracking work, incoming and outgoing correspondence, communications and tasks for organizational senior leaders; Leading high level activities including status of tasks and projects, policies and procedures, due dates, extensions, changes in signature levels; Providing guidance and advice to subordinate staff, higher level management, and senior leadership; Experience analyzing and evaluating quantitative and qualitative data to assess project performance and progress to identify material weaknesses, forecast future outcomes, and recommend decisive actions for timely decisions.
