ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Systems Administrator to join our team in Arlington, VA. This is a hybrid position with 2 or 3 days onsite at the Pentagon.

Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Support the AWS GovCloud and Commercial Cloud environments

• Responsible for installation, configuration and maintenance of the servers and Commercial Software packages

• Perform software installations, maintain system documentation, manage server and software configurations, establish and enforce procedures, monitor system health, collect performance metrics and participate in capacity planning

• Provide automation scripts to support the large number of systems

• Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space

• Troubleshoot performance issues utilizing root-cause analysis and address system issues

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field

• 1+ years’ experience required

• Experience with managing and patching Operating Systems

• Experience with COTS package upgrades and software deployments

• Proficiency in Windows (preferred) or Red Hat operating systems

• Administrative knowledge of AWS operations in support of services like EC2, S3, VPC, ELB, Autoscaling Groups, Route 53, IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Lambda, SNS and RDS

• Security+ certification or equivalent certification for DoD 8570 compliance is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with management of Active Directory

• Experience with DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STiG) implementations

• Experience configuring and managing Microsoft Remote Desktop Services and/or Citrix

• Knowledge Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, DNS, Microsoft SQL, and Oracle Database

• Experience with configuration management tools such as Jenkins, GIT/Build/Deploy, Ansible, Chef or Puppet

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance with SSBI is required
