Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the ADJUTANT S-1 MANPOWER of HQTSBATTALION. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number:ST-12529057-24-JDH. Responsibilities You will examine, verify and maintain and reconcile accounts and accounting data, prepare and analyze reports. You will support the receipt of, disbursement, examination, deposit and custody of cash items which includes handling cash items or use of cash accountability control methods. You will review to determine signature authentication, correct processing codes, and may include operation of cash registers. You will have knowledge of procedures and regulations required to examine invoices, voucher, and related documents is required. You will make and verify arithmetical computations. You will determine pay, payroll records maintenance and completion of reports pertaining to civilian employees of the Federal Government. You will be required to have knowledge of military pay entitlements laws, regulations and procedures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: perform technician work in support of budget analysis and administration. Experience and knowledge in administrative rules, regulations and procedures; civilian and military pay. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
