DESCRIPTION:

PE is seeking a highly motivated Data Migration Specialist with strong work behaviors and experience as a Data Migration Specialist to join our team at the Joint Staff at the Pentagon. As a Data Migration Specialist, you will have a crucial role in ensuring the detailed transfer of data to our clients' systems. This is an exceptional opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and contribute to the success of high-reaching projects. And the opportunity to work with a senior group of Enterprise Architects and eventually train to become an enterprise architect.

Primary duties will include (but not limited to):

• Technical experience regarding data models (logical and physical) database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

• Audit, uncover, and resolve data integrity issues

• Perform mass data imports/exports using the API or various import tools

• Apply strong analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, and distribute substantial amounts of information with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience with ETL development tools and data warehouse architecture techniques

• Utilize analytical reporting tools

• Familiar with effective approaches and practical experience in data migration, data quality, master data management, and data security, including the use of relevant tools

  KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Currently hold a Government top secret, sensitive compartmented information security clearance that requires U.S. citizenship

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience

• 3+ years of experience in data migration or related roles

• Experience with SQL programming and scripting with the relational database (Microsoft SQL, Server T-SQL and/or Oracle SQL) is required

• Programming experience with XML, Jason, Java, JavaScript

• Proven track record of successfully implementing data migration projects

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
