Job Description

HII, Inc. Mission Technologies is seeking a remote Data Analyst to support the F-35 Data Integration Strategy. The IT Solutions Architect will be responsible for developing and applying various techniques to analyze data and establishing a measurement capability to support the organizational information needs that can be applied to different aspects of the organization.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Develop and apply various techniques to analyze data, such as mathematics, statistics, data mining, and predictive modeling.

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for efficient and reliable data ingestion from various sources.

• Perform gap assessment to determine feasibility of delivery property accountability requirements such as Initial Trial Balance with existing data sources, current data interchange mechanisms, and planned system improvements.

• Establish a measurement capability to support the organizational information needs that can be applied to organizations, projects, processes, and work products.

• Display concepts, ideas, and facts using graphical representations to turn data into information, insight, and business decisions.

• Develop forward-looking, predictive, real-time, model-based insights to create value and drive effective decision-making.

• Condensing and encapsulating data characteristics, making it easier to surface opportunities, identify risks, analyze trends, and drive effective decision-making.

• Apply creative coding, processing, and configuration skills to handle large groups of data for various requirements.

• Combine and merge different data sources to provide an overview of work status and enable further analysis using Python and Tableau.

• Use Python package Pandas to manipulate data and create a master file from raw data sources.

• Perform investigative work to track missing data sources and tweak AWS permissions through interfacing with the CCOE.

• Interact with AWS services to store and retrieve data and review data quality.

• Clean and merge data to generate metrics and visuals for analysis using Python modules.

• Maintain a code repository with Python modules for analysis and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Master's related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.

• Experience with data analysis, with a focus on data ingestion and ETL processes.

• Experience supporting DoD program.

• Clearance: An active SECRET security clearance required.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Tableau and Power BI.

• Experience with SQL and other programming languages commonly used in data analysis.

• Proficient with Python and Pandas library.

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS.
