Job Description

Purpose & Scope:

Responsible for microscopically screening and classifying cells based on specific criteria from FNAs, body fluids and exfoliative cytology (Pap smears). Responsible for taking over Cytology Prep Tech duties as needed. Responsible to comply with and enforce all safety and infection control policies, procedures, and regulations.

Education:

College Diploma preferred.

Completion of training in Cytotechnology is required.

Experience:

Two years of experience in Healthcare/ Medical - Cytotechnology.

None
