We take our role seriously and as part of the Energy, Resilience and Sustainability (ERS) Division, you will collaborate with experts to provide comprehensive policy, planning, and implementation services to deliver solutions that address critical occupational safety and health issues and support the military mission.

[[The ERS Division is seeking a highly motivated and qualified junior candidate to directly support a Department of the Air Force senior executive client focused on infrastructure, environmental, and energy issues and their executive officer. The ideal candidate will work well in a team environment and will be able to apply project management strategies to track progress against milestones, to flag and resolve issues, and to ensure final deliverables are submitted on time and meet quality standards. Everyday duties will schedule management, office management, communication liaison, information preparation, office records management, data analysis, and representing the executive to others. Some travel may be required. This is a fast-paced, client-facing, position located in the Washington, D.C area, with the flexibility to work from home while participating in recurring in-office work at the Pentagon (e.g., every Monday/Wednesday/Friday) at client direction.

  • Facilitate the client's activities by reading, researching, prioritizing, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; and collecting and analyzing information.
  • Manage executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Work closely with Executive Officer and other assigned support staff.
  • Plans and orchestrates complex and detailed meetings and events at the Pentagon and NCR locations.
  • Create, organize, and conduct support activity to plan and organize senior leader travel to include creating travel orders, book accommodations, transportation, and other needed actions to begin and end travel.
  • Maintain strong client relationships

Bachelors Degree in political science, communications, law, policy, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.

Two to four (2-4) years of directly related work experience.

Knowledge of the missions, roles, functions, organizational structures, and relationships of

Strong communication skills, written and oral, supported by interpersonal skills that support being a liaison between organizations.

Ability and confidence to work closely with Air Force senior leaders.
