Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) MST - Central Staffing Office

We are looking for Seasonal RNs to join Texas Health. Is that you?

Main Office: Texas Health Central Staffing Office - 612 E Lamar, Arlington, TX 76011

Work Locations: The main office for the Central Staffing Office is in Arlington, TX but you will primarily be working in Region B.

Work hours: PRN, must be available to work 36 hours/week.

Shift: variable Night shifts (no self-scheduling).

Regions are as follows:

Region A: Allen, Frisco, Plano, Dallas, Prosper, Rockwall, Kaufman and Center for Diagnostics & Surgery Plano

Region B: Denton, Flower Mound, Southlake, HEB, Arlington Memorial, Heart & Vascular, Alliance, and Azle

Region C: Fort Worth, Southwest, Cleburne, Clearfork, Burleson, Willow Park and the Specialty Hospital.

Position Highlights:

Texas Health Central Staffing Office – internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all THR hospitals. Must have flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on the needs of the business. The Central Staffing Office is broken into particular zones, but in the event that your primary zone does not have any needs, you must be open to being floated to outside, neighboring zones.

Here’s What You Need:

  • Diploma in Nursing required or

  • Associate’s degree in Nursing required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred

  • CLIAFE -must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required

  • Five (5) years of RN experience with three (3) years in the last five (5) years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty (Med-Surg/Tele) is required.

  • RN license – upon hire required

  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required

  • ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire required

  • NIHSS – National Institute of Health Stroke certificate (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) within 30 days of hire and

  • CPI – Crisis Prevention intervention Training (Maintained Annually) within 90 days of hire required and

  • ENPC – Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) within 30 days of hire required or

  • PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) within 90 days of hire required and

  • TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) within 30 days of hire required or

  • ATCN – Advanced Trauma Care Nurse (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) within 30 days of hire required
