Parking Controllers perform a combination of functions including Ticket Writer, Info Booth Attendee, Relief Guard, Auto Assistance, Customer Service, and Boot Driver.Assist the Parking Control Supervisor and Assistant Director in planning, coordination, and management of parking and transportation for campus events..Ticket Writing and#x2013; Patrols parking areas on foot, bike, cart, and truck to ensure that only authorized vehicles are using the parking facilities.Booth Attendee and#x2013; Articulates directional information and location of buildings and offices to visitors. Issues official visitor permits.Event Setup/Tear Down and#x2013; Supports the Event staff by delivering, setting up, and taking down cones, barricades, signs, and sign covers.Customer Service Representative and#x2013; Serves as liaison between parking office and campus community.Boot Driver and#x2013; Installs and removes immobilization devices.Facilitates towing of vehicles with impound lot.Auto Assistance and#x2013; Provides key and battery assists to stranded motorists parked on campus.Supervisor and#x2013; Will be responsible for supervising up to 20 student employees.Performs other duties as assigned..High School diploma.Valid US Driverand#x2019;s License.One (1) year of experience involving extensive public contact or the equivalent account..Bachelorand#x2019;s degree in a service or business-related field with two (2) or more years working in parking and transportation environment.Previous staff management experience.
