Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Demand Planner Sr. in Arlington, Texas

Description: You will be the Manufacturing Planner, Sr. for the Missiles and Fire Control PP&C team. Our team is responsible for owning and maintaining the schedule for contractual deliverables.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Planner, Sr., you will be responsible for driving production planning and control efforts, coordinating with various departments to meet contractual deliverables. You will play a critical role in scheduling and expediting the movement of parts, ensuring seamless production workflows. Your responsibilities will include:

• Working in the Production, Planning and Control organization as a Scheduler, Make, Buy or Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner.

• Coordinating interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, contracts administration, etc.

• Scheduling and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.

• Requires travel and/or communication to all production sites and vendor locations.

• Working outside of the normal operating hours may be required.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

• Ability to obtain a security clearance. An Interim Secret clearance is required prior to starting.

• Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs

• Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing

• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving,

and multitasking skills

• Experience with SAP

Desired Skills:

• Inventory Control and material handling knowledge

• Experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.

• Green Belt trained / certified

• Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists

• APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification

• Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
