Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in Arlington, Texas. This role is vital within our organization, focused on maintaining and managing our inventory records in a proficient and accurate manner. You will be working in a fast-paced setting, where your keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be essential.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate recording and tracking of inventory levels, ensuring consistency between physical inventory and electronic records.

• Efficiently entering inventory data into computer systems and databases, including item descriptions, quantities, and locations.

• Monitoring inventory levels to determine when stock needs to be reordered and assisting with restocking shelves as needed.

• Inspecting incoming and outgoing products for accuracy and quality, reporting discrepancies as necessary.

• Maintaining organized and up-to-date inventory documentation, including invoices, purchase orders, and shipping records.

• Generating regular inventory reports and communicating any potential issues or shortages to the appropriate personnel.

• Ensuring inventory storage areas are neat, orderly, and efficiently arranged for easy access.

• Collaborating closely with other team members, including warehouse staff and purchasing departments, to coordinate inventory activities.

• Utilizing skills in Inventory Audits, Inventory Reports, Inventory Records, Inventory Tracking, Store Inventory, and Track Inventory to perform duties efficiently.

• Managing warehouse inventory effectively to ensure smooth operations. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in organizational skills

• Experience with inventory audits

• Ability to generate detailed inventory reports

• Proven track record in maintaining accurate inventory records

• Experience with inventory tracking systems

• Familiarity with store inventory management

• Capability to effectively track inventory across multiple locations

• Experience with warehouse inventory management

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in relevant inventory software and technologies

• Ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary

• Basic mathematical skills for inventory counts

• Familiarity with safety procedures in a warehouse setting

• High school diploma or equivalent education level.
