Lockheed Martin Global Supply Chain Affordability Lead in Arlington, Texas

Description:

You will be the Affordability Lead for the PAC-3 Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization. Our team is responsible for identifying opportunities to reduce supplier costs and drive affordability initiatives for a mature program design.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Affordability Lead, you will be responsible for creating and driving the GSC affordability process, collaborating with functional affordability teams, and supporting the program affordability plan. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing a tailored GSC affordability process utilizing previous experience and lessons learned

• Tracking and summarizing affordability projects to report progress to management

• Leading efforts for the PAC-3 GSC team, including facilitating affordability sessions with suppliers

• Conducting affordability workshops to vet ideas and cost savings

• Traveling to the supply base to uncover significant savings opportunities

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

• Background/Degree in Global Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or similar field

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work proactively /self-motivated

• Excellent teamwork and team leadership skills

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance

Desired Skills:

• Green Belt or Black Belt certified

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
