Xylem Field Service Manager in Arlington, Texas

The Service Manager oversees the technician team approximately 14 direct reports, ensuring all activities comply with project specifications and safety protocols. They also handle scheduling, training, and quality control.

Responsibilities:

Managing budget (P&L) and expenses for technician team

Training and development of technicians

Scheduling and assigning tasks to technicians

Supervising and monitoring technicians' work performance

Ensuring timely completion of projects and tasks

Maintaining inventory and purchasing supplies

Conducting quality control checks on completed work

Handling customer complaints and resolving issues

Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols

Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to technicians

Creating and implementing standard operating procedures for technicians

Collaborating with other departments to coordinate and prioritize work

Hiring and onboarding new technicians

Organizing and leading team meetings and trainings

Keeping records and documentation of technician work and progress

Identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions

Handling disciplinary actions and conflicts within technician team

Staying updated on industry developments and implementing best practices.

Understand team dynamics and effective management practices. Supervisors should be adept at balancing individual tasks with overseeing team performance.

Conflict Resolution: Ability to address conflicts within the team professionally and constructively.

Qualifications:

Budget Management Experience (P&L)

Proven ability to manage technical teams and coordinate complex projects.

Salary range:

$70,500.00 - $126,500.00
