Your Role: Advanced Manufacturing Supervisor

As an Advanced Manufacturing Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of your department, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for managing and developing your team, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining high standards of quality and performance. This role involves coordinating with other departments, troubleshooting issues on the shop floor, and driving continuous improvement. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced CNC machines and automation technology and drive innovation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the department, ensuring employees meet performance standards, follow time-keeping protocols, and adhere to all safety procedures.

  • Provide ongoing education and skill development for the team. Set a visible example to ensure the growth and development of your team.

  • Accountable for on-time delivery, Quality, Cost, and Performance of the team.

  • Collaborate with management and other departments to coordinate the manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly process.

  • Drive accountability to promote daily checks of the machines as well as a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

  • Monitor productivity of CNC machines which includes 5-axis lathe/mill machines, plasma machines, CNC mills and lathes, saws, and key seater, and educate team members on required results and process methods to improve production performance.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

  • Address and resolve any operational issues, escalating to management when necessary.

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.

Your Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

  • Must be available before and after the shift to supervise employees

  • Please note that this position will be training for approximately 4 to 6 weeks at our Arlington manufacturing facility on Sprocket Drive. After training, the work site will be at our Fort Worth facility on McCart Avenue.

What We are Looking For:

  • Experience with CNC 5-axis machines, specifically DMG, Brother, Doosan

  • Ability to direct and coach a team to apply advanced statistics related to machine utilization and Six Sigma in problem-solving

  • Knowledge of Power Transmission products specifically sprocket components

  • Advanced Computer proficiency, plus organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • Un-yielding commitment to the goal of the plant along team approach

  • Energetic and positive with a willingness to grow skill set

  • Self-management with a drive to succeed and achieve goals.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

  • Knowledge of programming CNC machines would be a plus
