Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking an Operator, Assembly for our EMI Porta location, in Arlington Heights, IL. Hyperion is constantly looking for talented, self-motivated, skilled team members to join our team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position plays an integral part in meticulously assembling parts or components to exact specifications, contributing to the efficient production of high-quality finished products. By executing assembly tasks with precision and adhering to safety and quality standards, this position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing process and the delivery of products that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assembly:

Perform assembly tasks according to established procedures and specifications.

Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble parts or components.

Adhere to assigned production schedules and meet or exceed daily production targets.

Quality Control:

Inspect parts for defects or irregularities and ensure they meet quality standards.

Collaborate with internal team to determine root cause of a problem and assist in implementing corrective actions.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, increasing efficiency, and reducing waste.

Work Area Maintenance:

Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment.

Help leadership identify areas of improvement to establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

1-2 years of experience with Assembly work preferred.

Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 35 pounds.

Regular and prompt attendance required.
