If you are fueled by results, intellectually curious, and want to get in on the ground floor of building the future of snacking with an industry leading customer – this is the team for you! * Summary of Role * The Salty Category Strategist will be responsible for leveraging insights and the category management toolkit to meet and exceed Hershey and customer financial objectives. The Category Strategist will be an expert in the pervasive application of insights to fuel growth and drive thought leadership. Key to role is synthesizing business trends, competitive trends, shopper insights, financial insights, etc., to identify opportunities and develop solutions to drive conversion and shopper satisfaction across the entire shopping journey, including brick-and-mortar and eCommerce, and all fulfillment models. The Category Strategist will influence the development and implementation of category initiatives in support of the Walmart/ Sam's Club /Hershey JBP through pervasive use of insights and capabilities. * What You’ll Do* -Acts as the Category Expert and trusted partner to support in the execution of strategic business plan and Joint Business Planning process driving goals for topline sales, net sales, as well as category share targets.  -Provide management with objective, comprehensive, consumer-based insights and actionable recommendations based upon that information through data compiled using tools such as, Circana (IRI), Circana Scan Panel, Numerator Insights (Data), Nielsen Shelf Architect, Placer.ai, Luminate. -Synthesize actionable insights using retailer data, internal/syndicated data sources, and shopper insights. -Effectively penetrate internal and external stakeholders horizontally and vertically to align on category initiatives. -Perform line reviews and build planograms using Space Planning (JDA) to support incremental category growth. -Ideate, develop, and test strategic solutions that enhance the customer experience demonstrated to the customer through advanced POWER Storytelling skills by leveraging tools such as Mekko PPT Charts, PowerBI (Create Dashboards), PowerBI (Consume Dashboards), Excel. -Establish yourself as the leading provider of category strategies and expertise with Walmart/ Sam's Club and within the team. * What You’ll Need to Succeed Education:* Bachelor’s Degree Required * Experience:* Category Management and/or CPG Sales experience (3-7 years) * Skills: * -Demonstrate strong data storytelling capabilities through strategic use of tools such as PowerPoint Charts and/ or Mekko. -Ability to build dynamic customer relationships to expand scope of influence to drive more influence and everyday excellence in store level execution. -Strong problem solving and project management skills, along with a proven ability to work on multiple assignments at once and ability to leverage analytic tools such as, Circana (IRI), Circana Scan Panel, Numerator Insights (Data) to derive meaningful insights for Hershey and customer use. -Have working knowledge of space analytics and the tools to support it, such as Space Planning (JDA). -Ability to collaborate and work well with a team while demonstrating a proactive mindset and strong initiative #LI-AM1 The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
