To always be mindful of the next generation of farmers.We have openings for Marketing & Business Operations Interns this summer in the following areas : Manufacturer Reporting, Crop Protection Marketing , and Forage Genetics Internati onal . All WinField Interns will attend intern orientation the first week of the internship in late May at headquarters in Arden Hills, MN. At the conclusion of summer interns will have the opportunity to deliver a final presentation on key deliverables to the WinField United leadership team at headquarters to be considered for full-time opportunities with WinField United following graduation .Internship Duration: 11 weeks : May - August 2025Interns are paid $24.00/hour. Relocation assistance may be provided to eligible candidates for the duration of the summer internship.M ANUFACTURER REPORTINGThis team works directly with manufacturers, reporting grower sales data for rebate redemption. This role will have the opportunity to interface with different manufacturers and groups within WinField United. The role will analyze manufacturer reporting data to identify reporting trends and communicate findings to stakeholders. There are also opportunities for process improvement activities including analyzing current processes, documenting process flows and proposing improvements. Preferred skills include experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.CROP PROTECTION MARKETINGWinField United is an industry leader when it comes to several different categories of products within Agriculture (Adjuvants, Plant Growth Regulators, Micronutrients, etc.). We have a world-class innovation center as well as our Answer Plots that give us millions of data points per year. The challenge we have is how to focus in, organize and share the right information to best communicate our value proposition to the market . This position over the summer will be asked to work through, structure and organize how we communicate insights from our top products from data coming out of our innovation center . The intern will partner with our Strategic Marketing, Brand Marketing, Market Activation, Crop Protection Product Managers and Product Development teams. It will include travel to our innovation center in River Falls, WI as well as our headquarters in Arden Hills, MN. Different tools like Microsoft Office will be required , but the main focus will be communication skills.FGI MARKETINGThis internship will focus on supporting sales and marketing functions and tactics of the Forage Genetics International Organization out of the headquarters location in Arden Hills, MN. Interns will have the opportunity to combine previous marketing and agronomy experience by assisting in the development of marketing materials, communication initiatives, campaigns, branding, market analysis, and data analytics to grasp consumer and market insight . In addition, this opportunity includes learning about sales operations and how support for these systems help our workforce learn and best utilize these tools. A unique aspect of this marketing position is exposure to our FGI business through shadowing account managers, participation in sales calls, assisting in sales meetings and field day planning, learning territory management, and basic sales concepts.Required Qualifications:Sophomore or Junior (preferred) undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in agriculture marketing, agriculture communications, agriculture business, or other related field of study.Required GPA of 3.0 or higherPreferred Qualifications:Ability to work without direct supervision.Excellent communication, writing, and critical thinking skills.Manage time and effectively prioritize and implement projects and general work tasks.Give and receive feedback, work collaboratively, exhibit effective social and interpersonal skills.Resourceful and innovative in finding solutions to problems.Flexible and can adapt to changing business surroundings.Ability to adhere to strict safety standards when handling crop protection products in lab and field settings, if applicable.About Land O'Lakes, Inc.Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
