About this role: As part of the Post-Market Quality Assurance Returns Team at Arden Hills, this position will primarily support returned product processing activities from an engineering perspective for the Cardiac Rhythm Management and Electrophysiology divisions. This position will serve as a subject matter expert for the team with a focus on maintaining and developing engineering tools and promoting process improvements. Your responsibilities will include: Develop, maintain, and validate tools to support existing and new processes Drive continuous improvement projects utilizing project management methodologies and the DMAIC approach to ensure timelines and objectives are met Lead and facilitate Lean Tool implementation initiatives such as 5S and Kaizen events to streamline operations and eliminate waste Develop work standards that reduce variation and increase productivity; conduct time studies for these processes to develop labor models for effective resource planning Serve as a subject matter expert for returns processing activities to actively promote and participate in a cross-functional environment Support the Returns Team as well as adjacent complaint investigation sites as needed Understand and adhere to general safety practices, departmental process requirements, and the Boston Scientific Corporation Quality Policy Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Preferred qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience leading projects in process improvement Knowledge of Quality Systems and/or experience with returns processing of medical devices Six Sigma and/or Lean certification Experience using SQL and VBA programming languages Experience using Tableau and/or Power BI data visualization software Proven ability to communicate effectively Detail oriented with strong organizational skills Process-oriented Requisition ID:582677 Among other requirements, Boston Scientific maintains specific prohibited substancetesting requirements for safety-sensitive positions.
