DOT Program SpecialistThis position is responsibility for DOT program management and regulatory compliance for the 8 registered Land O'Lakes Commercial Fleets subject to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration requirements. This encompasses 500 drivers and 700 vehicles. This role supports all Fleets in training, implementing performance standards, new hire, and standardizing best practices to reduce risk.Experience Required:2-5 years of DOT ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED Program Management:Driver risk reductionDriver Qualification file & componentsDrug and Alcohol testing including FMCSA ClearinghousePrevious Employer Verification (PEV)Road testsFMCSA Pre-employment Screening Program (PSP)Develop and implementation of on-boarding requirements for new driversDOT 49 Code Federal Regulations (CFR)Experience Preferred:Hazardous Materials DOT complianceDevelop and implement DOT compliance programs for multiple/diverse commercial fleetsVendor ManagementImportant Skills:Communicate/collaborate with multiple levels of the organizationIdentify opportunities to make changes to improve processes and proceduresDetail-oriented with excellent analytical skillsStrong organizational skills, able to balance multiple priorities and projects with the capability to make course corrections quickly when neededIndependently makes sound, informed decisions, particularly under time pressureAbility to manage multiple projects efficiently without supervisionProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint)About Land O'Lakes, Inc.Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
