Sauder Woodworking Co 3rd Shift - Shuttle Driver in Archbold, Ohio

The shuttle driver moves finished product through the Sauder complex in a safe and efficient manner.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Load and unload live bed trailers from and to conveyors. Drop & hook trailers.
  • Maintain radio communications with shuttle dispatcher.
  • Verify equipment is in safe working condition and notifies the dispatcher when repairs are needed.
  • Transport material in a safe manner, verify gates are in place and product is secure.
  • Load/unload pallets.
  • Contribute toward setting and achieving goals consistent with Process/Dept/ Co goals.
  • Work at continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, relations, work skills, etc.
  • Communicate effectively to build strong and positive team relations.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings.
  • Work effectively as a three-shift team and with the other teams on the same shift.
  • Regular attendance is required for this position.
