Lockheed Martin Electrical Assembly Operations Manager in Archbald, Pennsylvania

Description: You will be the Electrical Assembly Operations Manager with our Lockheed Martin (LM) Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team in Archbald, PA.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Electrical Assembly Operations Manager, you will manage and lead the Production Operations efforts within all areas of the Archbald Electronics Assembly building to include Circuit Card Assembly, Cable & Harness, Electro-Mechanical, Tester, and Instrumentation & Control equipment assembly and wiring.

Your responsibilities will include:

• With direct management responsibility for the manufacturing operations staff including supervision and operators, you will coordinate and direct Production Operation efforts for all programs with responsibility for the quality, schedule, and cost performance.

• You will be expected to work with other program functions, including Program Management, Engineering and Technology, Quality and Mission Success and Global Supply Chain, to ensure program quality, cost and schedule objectives are met.

• In addition to day-to-day operations, you’ll be responsible for leading/supporting manufacturing activities including but not limited to: Ensuring production manpower and required resources are in place to execute per the Internal Operation Plan, facilities and capital planning, tool/equipment utilization, manufacturing plans, and driving execution of the Production Operations Excellence Plans.

• You must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management via verbal and written correspondence. You’ll present the team’s performance in Program, Customer, and Operations Leadership reviews as required.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience within a manufacturing environment

• Minimum 5 years of previous leadership experience

• Thorough knowledge of safety, quality, schedule, cost in a production environment

• Knowledge of Budgeting, Manpower planning, Production Planning, Tooling, and MRP

• Talent development and mentoring / teaching / coaching

• Ability to lead and motivate a team in fast-paced and complex manufacturing environment

• Ability to manage direct/capital/Overhead budgets and various key operational metrics

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience with electrical assembly to include Circuit Card Assembly, Cable & Harness, Electro-Mechanical Assembly

• Experienced with MRP/ERP/Manufacturing planning tools such as SAP, APRISO, etc.

• Green Belt Certification

• Experience with a matrix management organization

• CAM certification or cost analysis experience

• Understands Production Planning, Proposals, Estimating

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
