Machinist

The self-motivated candidate performs machine work on CNC Horizontal & Vertical Milling, Drilling, and Boring Machines. Must be able to set machine up and run proficiently upon completed training. Be able to edit new and existing programs as needed and actively contribute to quality initiatives to increase productivity and gain efficiencies. Candidate must be able to read blue prints, micrometer, calipers and other standard measuring equipment. Some experience of formal metalworking helpful. Must be physically capable of occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. When called upon to do so the incumbent utilizes acquired cross-functional training skills to assist and reduce the workload demands of other critical departments.

Minimum of two-year related trade school training OR equivalent job related experience.

Starting Salary is: $22.00/hour - $26.00/hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package which includes a yearly profit sharing, which has been paid out 4 of the last 5 years, including 20% on base and overtime wages in 2023.

*Performance evaluations are completed every 90 days and employees are eligible for a pay increase based on performance at 90 days, 180 days, 270 days, and at one year.
