Cleaner

SUMMARY Will be responsible for general cleaning duties in office, manufacturing and restroom areas; including, but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, cleaning break areas.

Scope of Responsibilities Clean floors by using mops, brooms, brushes, and operate vacuum cleaner. Use soap and other cleaning products. Empty trash and replace lining of trash cans, and use cleaning solutions to clean surfaces and remove stains. Clean and disinfect restrooms and first-aid room. Clean toilets, sinks, partitions, mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and products based on surfaces being cleaned. Replace supplies as required. Dust furniture and clean surfaces in break areas and meeting rooms. Notify Supervisor / Facility Manager of unsafe conditions or potential maintenance items identified while performing daily job tasks.

Requirements High School or GED Must be able to push, pull, lift & carry 25 - 40 lbs and operate cleaning equipment Ability to work independently; self-motivated Attention to detail and solid time management skills Understands MSDS/SDS before using cleaning solutions; follows good safety practices Excellent attendance

Position pays $15.00 - $16.50/hour, depending on experience
