Key Responsibilities: Promote Safety & Security: Foster a safe and secure working environment. Establish Accounting Standards: Assist in setting and maintaining accounting principles, practices, procedures, and internal controls, including state property tax reporting. Prepare Financial Reports: Timely preparation and consolidation of financial statements, adhering to generally accepted accounting principles. Review & Analysis: Oversee journal entries and account analysis to ensure general ledger accuracy, and prepare variance analysis and explanations. Audit Support: Participate in annual audits and assist in the preparation of annual and quarterly reports. Address Complex Transactions: Research and document appropriate accounting treatments for unique or non-routine transactions. System Enhancements: Support testing and implementation of software upgrades and accounting system changes. Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with accounting, tax, and finance teams to support organizational goals and objectives. Process Improvements: Lead and assist in workflow process enhancements and special projects.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position • Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes • Demonstrable experience with Bank Reconciliations • Familiarity with General Ledger operations • Able to prepare and analyze Journal Entries • Experience in performing Month End Close tasks • Experience with Oracle software is a plus • Comfortable using ERP for accounting tasks
