PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking candidates for a Senior Mechanical Estimator. Can work in either Appleton, WI., Kansas City, Mo., or St. Louis, Mo.

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Estimator

Job Type: Full time; Contract (6 months)

Location: candidate can sit in office in Appleton, WI - Kansas City, MO - St. Louis, MO)

Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Onsite

Pay Rate: $43.00-$50.00 per hour

Job Summary

The candidate will work as a Senior Mechanical Estimator responsible for leading complex multi-discipline estimates for field and pre-fabrication construction projects. They will consult with clients and other stakeholders to formulate estimates and manage cost estimating processes while ensuring accuracy and minimizing risk.

Skill Requirements

• Mechanical Estimating experience

• Fluency in Excel, including data models, pivot tables, data manipulation, Vlookups/Xlookups, and formula creation

• Familiarity with software such as Bluebeam Xtreme, Navisworks Freedom 3D model viewer/manipulate, SharePoint/Teams, Power BI, OneNote

• Experience with estimating software like InEight or Accubid

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 7 years of direct project Mechanical estimating experience Required or Applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirement Required.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of other software like Quotesoft or Oracle

• Strong analytical skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle large volumes of work and multitask

Pay Details: $43.00 to $50.00 per hour
