Job Summary:
The Office Coffee /Customer Service Manager at Canteen will be key in developing and maintaining strategic relationships with both new and existing customers. This role will drive sales growth, ensure premier customer service, and manage daily account operations. The Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet business goals and gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire business process, including office administration, warehousing, equipment service, and route management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and grow client relationships; develop new office coffee business opportunities.
Master all aspects of the business, including administration, warehousing, equipment service, and route management.
Build strong vendor relationships to ensure optimal product solutions for customers.
Create and implement sales plans with local management, track performance and drive profitability.
Lead customer retention initiatives to enhance the client experience.
Assess location performance through audits and quarterly evaluations.
Directly run OCS Route Drivers, OCS Techs, coffee products, and equipment operations (including Water & Ice machines).
Establish and implement standard processes to improve accountability, customer service, and product quality.
Lead all aspects of inventory management and supply ordering with the Warehouse Manager to meet demand and minimize waste.
Train new employees on company policies, safety, and role-specific tasks; ensure compliance with Union Agreements.
Create and manage staff schedules, adjusting shifts as needed for optimal coverage and customer service.
Analyze financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure timely food and beverage order fulfillment, meeting quality standards and hygiene protocols.
Address customer feedback and resolve issues to maintain satisfaction.
Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions to meet health and safety standards.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Develop strategies to improve sales, profitability, and customer engagement.
Champion a positive work environment, offering mentor and feedback to promote employee growth and retention.
Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree is preferred; two-year College degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
Client & Account Management experience.
Excellent communication skills required.
Must be able to travel to client sites.
Must be passionate about Office Coffee Services.
