WHAT YOU\'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM Required Qualifications Experience: Construction work experience of at least five years, leadership experience of at least three years Education: Bachelor\'s degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience, technical training in cable construction techniques and design preferred, industry and vendor specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E), valid driver\'s license with satisfactory driving record within Company required standards Technical Skills: Able to manage emergencies and rapidly changing priorities, and to effectively direct the work activities of others under all work conditions, able to use hand tools such as electric drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, and hammers, knowledge of basic mathematics and electronics, knowledge of National Electric Code and National Electrical Safety Code, able to read general to complex system layouts from blueprints, able to operate machinery for underground/overhead cable installation Abilities: Able to read, write and speak English. Able to prioritize and organize effectively. Able to make cable connections by bending and twisting, able to operate appropriate computer or test equipment, able to perform job from high places, able to use a personal computer and software applications. Able to walk over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather while carrying tools and equipment, including gaffs, ladders, and fully loaded tool belts.
