Summary: The HR Operations Specialist ensures the smooth execution of core HR functions, including benefits, compensation, compliance and performance management. This role maintains legal and policy alignment and provides the infrastructure needed to drive an effective employee experience. The focus of this role is the development and maintenance of HR systems, processes and compliance initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field or equivalent experience 5-7 years of experience in HR operations, benefits, compensation or a related area. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Preferred Qualifications HR Certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS, etc) Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and benefits platforms Previous experience with UKG Duties & Responsibilities Administer Benefits Programs: Oversee and manage all aspects of employee benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans and wellness initiatives. Will serve as main point of contact for our benefits brokers and vendors. Manage Compensation Processes: Develop and maintain salary structures, conduct market analysis and support annual merit and bonus processes. Administer Performance Management Systems: Lead and coordinate the annual performance review process. Develop and Update HR Policies: Draft, revise and implement HR policies and procedures in line with organizational goals and legal requirements. Advise on Employment Law and HR Best Practices: Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws. Provide guidance on law and policy as needed.
