Kelly Services is seeking a Electronics Repair Technician for a busy Electronics Manufacturer, located in Apopka, FL 32703

Pay rate: $19/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Term: Temp to hire

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Electronics Technician with a background in electronics and quality control. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall quality of our products. Your responsibilities will include testing completed products, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing issues, conducting quality control inspections, and assisting with various projects. This position requires prior technician experience, a strong understanding of electronic circuits, soldering skills, and the ability to use standard troubleshooting equipment . Excellent email etiquette is also essential for effective communication.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Test completed products and document test procedures for new products

• Return products to the Shop Foreman and bring any defects in manufacturing to their attention

• Load programs into products using handheld programmers

• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing problems as well as returned products

• Determine problems with returned units and check with customers for repair authorization

• Maintain the RMA database and ensure repairs are done without damaging the PCB or its traces

• Inspect products for quality defects and prioritize aesthetics alongside functionality

• Document any changes made to the BOM structure, schematic, or test procedures

• Assist with physical inventory twice a year

• Compose professional emails with proper etiquette

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior technician background troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing issues , preferably in the military

• Strong understanding of electronic circuits and quality control inspections

• Proficient in soldering

• Ability to use standard troubleshooting equipment

• Excellent email etiquette and professional communication skills
