Job Description:

Are you passionate about working outdoors and with your hands? We have an exciting opportunity for an Irrigation Apprentice, designed as a stepping stone to becoming a skilled technician or installer. You will work alongside experienced technicians and installation foremen to learn the ropes of irrigation installation and repair. Additionally, you may assist with other irrigation, drainage, and landscape lighting projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems.

• Follow directions from the supervisor and complete tasks accurately.

• Learn to complete work orders efficiently.

• Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth project completion.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Requirements:

• Punctuality: Arrive on time for work and job sites.

• Professional Appearance: Wear appropriate work attire and maintain a neat appearance.

• Positive Interactions: Engage professionally and courteously with customers and coworkers.

• Attitude: Maintain a positive and proactive attitude at all times.

• Drivers License: Hold a valid NC drivers license with a clean driving record.

• Communication: Must speak and write clear English.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay: $18.00 - $20.00, paid weekly.

• Overtime pay: Time and a half after 40 hours.

• Health Insurance: Employer percentage match.

(accrued with time worked)

Schedule:

• Full-time position, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM shift.
