Position: JAVA Software Engineer (Full Stack) - Remote USA

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join our innovative team. This U.S.-based role offers the opportunity to work remotely, with occasional travel to Utah as required. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, maintenance, and the use of modern technologies to drive operational efficiency and deliver cutting-edge solutions. A strong foundation in full stack development, environment management, tooling, and operations is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain robust software applications using Java, JavaScript, Angular, SQL, and Springboot.

  • Design and deploy applications within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Oracle environments.

  • Utilize ServiceNow or similar incident management tools for daily support operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues promptly and efficiently.

  • Maintain thorough documentation for software design, code, and operations.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in full stack software development, with proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Angular, and SQL.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS and Oracle environments.

  • Expertise in ServiceNow or other incident management tools.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and experience troubleshooting complex software issues.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Must be open to occasional travel to Utah as per client requirements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Java APIs, RESTful web services, and DevOps practices.

  • Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM.

Technical Requirements:

  • Primary Skills (Mandatory): Java Full Stack, Springboot, JavaScript, Oracle DB.

  • Secondary Skills: Java API, RESTful Web Services, DevOps, AWS knowledge, ServiceNow (or similar incident management tools).

Work Environment:

  • Remote work within the USA, with occasional travel to Utah as required.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $73,100 - $135,700.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
