Anoka County HRMS Master Data Analyst in Anoka, Minnesota

Job Posting End Date: September 3, 2024 at 11:59pm CST Hiring range: $60,819 to $72,966 ($29.24 to $35.08 per hour). The starting rate will depend on experience, education, and qualifications. Position Description The Anoka County Human Resources Department has an immediate opening for an HRMS Master Data Analyst who will perform various duties. Some of the critical responsibilities of this position include reporting on critical data to ensure the accuracy of the HR system data. Serve as a resource for HR data-related questions. This is a full-time, exempt, hybridposition. Interviews will take place the week of September 9th, 2024, for those selected to move forward in the hiring process. Pay & Benefits Salary: $60,819 to $72,966 ($29.24 to $35.08 per hour). 2024 Anoka County Salary Schedule Grade 32. $60,819 to $85,113 ($29.24 to $40.92 per hour). 24 days of paid flexible time off and up to 12.5 paid holidays. Advancement/professional development opportunities. Work Location This position will work at Anoka County Government Center, located at 2100 3rd Ave, Anoka, MN 55303. This position may be eligible for flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work, with some days working remotely and some days working in the office. Expected work hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Job Duties and Responsibilities These examples are not all inclusive and are intended to be illustrative of primary responsibilities of an Anoka County HRMS Master Data Analyst. Report on critical data to ensure the accuracy of the HR system data. Serve as a resource for HR data related questions. Identify, research, and resolve conflicting, inaccurate, or missing data to produce accurate reports, finalize records, and administer benefits and payroll. Create or maintain exception reports to locate missing or conflicting data. Provide detailed documentation around data integrity issues, system and field problems, and practice and procedure changes. Perform problem resolution activities solved with data including reformatting paper-based data into a reportable format. Facilitate training to departments on data practices and system limitations. Maintain regular recurring and statistical reports to support department needs and daily operations. Support projects by gathering information and offering input on data practices and historical information. Provide data for ongoing initiatives as needed or requested. Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of job-related experience In lieu of the required education, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field Experience in Human Resources or data analytics Experience with SQL and Workday reporting Experience working with a variety and complexity of data Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Ability to work independently Strong written and verbal communication skills An lytical and problem-solving skills Organizational skills Physical Demands and Work Conditions Standard office environment Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus, such as to work on computers. Ability to see colors, shades, and brightness Hearing abilities required for general and phone communication, signals, and machine sounds Assignments are sedentary, occasionally alternating between sitting, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling as required to perform job responsibilities. Frequent wrist and finger manipulation to complete computer work Occasional lifting of 10-20 lbs. Equipment used includes computers, phones, and standard office equipment Occasional travel to other county work sites as needed.
