Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Testing Lead to join our team remotely. This role involves leading test coordination across multiple teams and business units, ensuring the delivery of quality services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development in test (SDET) and extensive experience with Python programming and various testing automation genres. Rate: $70 - $95 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as an interface between the developers and the Project Manager.

  • Serves as an interface between IT and the business.

  • Coordinates the cross-functional team activities.

  • Ensures that quality service is delivered on a timely basis.

  • Maintains strong customer relationships.

  • Assists in the deployment of new applications to the organization and to the support unit.

  • Assists the Service Introduction Lead in evaluating the impact of new applications on the support organization.

  • Assists with the delivery of new applications to the organization.

  • Reviews all implemented changes to make sure they have met their objectives.

  • Participates in and monitors the definition and planning of new technology projects or initiatives to implement new services or to redefine the existing ones to improve the level of technology infrastructure within the Service Delivery unit.

  • Reviews and manages all changes to the requirements through a formally defined scope change process.

  • Coordinates and monitors the work of all technology teams supporting the Service Delivery unit infrastructure.

  • Ensures that project delivery meets business and technical objectives.

Experience Requirements:

  • Python programming experience (must have)

  • Experience in the following testing automation genres: microservices, integration & regression, AWS environment & toolsets, Kafka & k8s, load testing, shell scripting, data integrity, and service & compliance

  • Experience leading larger test coordination across multiple teams and business units

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of software development in test (SDET) experience in software development area (must have)

  • Python programming experience (must have)

  • Experience in the following testing automation genres: microservices, integration & regression, AWS environment & toolsets, Kafka & k8s, load testing, shell scripting, data integrity, and service & compliance

  • Experience leading larger test coordination across multiple teams and business units

  • Electrical utility experience is a plus as always

Education Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, math, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline with an information technology focus.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
