Title: Software Engineer

Location: US Remote (Central Time Zone work hours)

Compensation: Up to $125K

About the Role

This Software Engineer role at PSI focuses on the enhancement and maintenance of the UCS2 scheduling platform, a critical component of PSI’s technology suite. Engineers in this role collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, develop new features for our .NET/React-based applications with a SQL database, and ensure seamless integration with internal and third-party systems. This position plays a pivotal role in delivering robust, scalable, and user-centric solutions that support scheduling, account management, and testing workflows, driving PSI's mission of providing reliable, quality-driven services to our customers.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable, enterprise-class web applications to support scheduling and account workflows.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-friendly, robust features in an Agile environment.

  • Enhance and support existing .NET/React applications and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Build and maintain APIs to support integrations with internal and third-party systems.

  • Contribute to modernization efforts, including cloud adoption and microservices architecture.

  • Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG) and security best practices are met.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for the platform.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or comparable experience.

  • 2+ years of experience developing enterprise applications in .NET/React or similar technologies.

  • Experience with API design and relational databases (e.g., MSSQL).

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies like Azure or AWS is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Agile practices and tools like Git and JIRA.

  • Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and microservices architecture is desirable.
