Job Title: Software EngineerJob Description

As a Software Engineer, you will perform full life-cycle software development, including eliciting customer and technical requirements, defining architecture, designing system/software solutions, and supporting implementation, integration, and testing. You will participate in the deployment and troubleshooting of field problems, working collaboratively with other disciplinary teams. From system requirements, you will create a software design, develop code to meet the planned schedule, perform unit and integration testing to ensure correct functionality. All work follows established CMMI work procedures and adheres to rigorous coding standards. You will design, code, test, integrate, and document software of high complexity, contributing to the 'heart' of a mission-critical aviation communications network where protocols and high availability are integral to the software development.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Annapolis, Maryland and some days remote.

Work Environment

You will be working to support communication systems between satellites and the ground, commercial airlines and the ground, and government aviation and the ground.
