Description

Colossal is looking for talented professionals to join our partner alliance team as a Partner Account Manager. The Partner Alliance team - sometimes referred to as channel - is responsible for generating revenue through identifying, recruiting, and developing strategic partners and aligning their go-to-market sales solutions with Colossal’s. Partner Account Managers will work closely with the sales team to support sales efforts to key customers. The primary focus will be to drive incremental partner sourced revenue targeting new and existing customers. This is a hybrid position with partial work from home during the week approved once trained.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Directly support the Director of Partner Alliances, Sales, President and CEO in all aspects of the Partner Alliance Channel Program.

  • Provide marketing support for the partner alliance program to build and expand Colossal’s brand.

  • Travel to conferences and trade shows when needed and responsible for manning booths and organizing partner events when in attendance.

  • Request and track market development funds to provide financial and technology resources to enhance overall growth.

  • Manage and expand specified solution system integrator (SI) relationships.

  • Request and track Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) backend dollars to increase overall margins and provide competitive advantages for the sales team.

  • Effectively maintains and retains existing vendors and distributors by building long-term relationships.

  • Participates in continued education to learn about new products and improved sales techniques.

  • Tracks personal sales statistics and submits them to Director of Partner Alliances for periodic reviews.

  • Completes proactive customer and OEM “good will” calls.

  • Plan and lead conferences and community service events to include budget and marketing requests.

  • Review partner contracts and partner agreements.

  • Drive gross profit for Colossal through manufacturers and SIs.

  • Other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of sales or marketing experience or equivalent experience/education.

  • A general technical aptitude and willingness to learn the fundamentals of information technology.

  • Demonstrated experience meeting goals, closing skills, prospecting skills, technical understanding, and proficiency, building relationships, people skills, customer focus and motivation for success.

  • Experience with a CRM system- preferably Salesforce.

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in a Marketing, Business Administration or Information Systems is preferred.

Travel

Frequent travel to customer/partner sites and trade shows required but advance notice is given.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Off-hour work for partner events required.
