Job Description:
*Lead Role Position" Schedule M-F, 8-5 MT
The HIM Document Coordinator will perform activities, coordinate assigned work, and assist with the daily operations of the Document Management Team for the assigned Region related to the analysis and management of incoming digital clinical documentation
Essential Functions
· Monitors team processes and workflows related to ambulatory document management.
· Coordinates and monitors day-to-day functions, work queues and volumes, distributes and shifts
work between team members as necessary to continually meet the quality and quantity
goals of the team.
· Participates in establishing and monitoring work schedules to ensure adequate staffing, preparing for
leading meetings and in-service for caregivers.
· Updates training materials and videos for HIM Document Management Technicians.
· Educates and trains caregivers to ensure staff competency.
· Advises the HIM Leader of issues and problems which hinder the efficiency of department processes.
· Assists with reporting.
· Acts as a Liaison to HIM Ambulatory Systems Analysts team by collaborating on technical
issues. Accountable for assisting in resolution of ServiceHub tickets and emails from Intermountain
partners.
· Performs audits of caregivers against established system workflows and processes to ensure quality
standards are being maintained.
· Utilizes statistics to identify quality and efficiency opportunities on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications · Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare related field preferred. · Experience in HIM preferred. · RHIT, RHIA, CMA or any related healthcare certification preferred. · Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office, internet and email required. · Experience with Epic, OnBase preferred. · Medical terminology and medical records experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, is required. · Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
Physical Requirements · Sitting for long periods of time. · Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use. · Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers require caregiver to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately · For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$18.81 - $26.65
