Job Description:

Telecommunications Technician II

HOW A TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

● Serve as Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for configuration, troubleshooting, installation, or removals of Voice and Video endpoints.

● Serve as Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for configuration, troubleshooting of user profiles within the Skype for Business application and Active Directory

● Responsible for creation, modification, and remove of Voicemail user profiles on the Voice Infrastructure.

● Responsible for configuration of the Voice and Video Conferencing Systems

● Responsible for responding to security incident reports

● Works with customer ticket in the SupportIT ticketing system.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Education: High School Diploma/GED

● Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience

● Required Technical Skills: Voice and Video endpoints

● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly

● Required Skills and Abilities: communication and problem solving

● Preferred Skills: Skype for Business application

● Location: On Site

● US Citizenship Required

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $35.07 - $47.45. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
