Firstsource Manager Eligibility Enrollment in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Location: Livonia, MI and surrounding areas Schedule:Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

The Eligibility Manager is responsible to oversee the staff for their department who are either on-site in a hospital or within an office. This individual will evaluate the progress of the department, maintain employee records, provide quality assurance, reporting, work with clients, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities: * Oversee and direct the daily activities of the Department * Coordinate account inventories and report daily/weekly to the Operations Manager * Prepare and conduct staff training * Maintain time and attendance records for staff * Coordinate and/or assume responsibilities for employees during absenteeism, heavy workloads, etc. * Some travel is required * Coordinate overtime to accommodate workloads when necessary * Report and document employee disciplinary problems to superiors

Additional Duties and Responsibilities: * Conduct quality assurance measures (i.e. auditing accounts, employee productivity, assist with evaluations of employee work performance) * Client services * Adhere to prescribed policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and the Employee Code of Conduct * Maintain awareness of and actively participate in the Corporate Compliance Program * Assist with other projects as assigned by management

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations: Firstsource  2009 | restricted 2 * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required * Medical assistance program experience is required * Ability to effectively work and communicate with coworkers, staff and clients * Ability to present oneself in a professional and courteous manner at all times * Working knowledge of personal computers * Demonstrate initiative and creativity in fulfilling job responsibilities * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy work environment * Must demonstrate strong leadership abilities

Working Conditions: * Call Center environment. * Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
