What you’ll need to succeed as a Linehaul Operations Intern at XPO :

Minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)

  • 2 or more years of relevant undergraduate coursework

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience

  • Solid organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Energetic work style with a strong drive to succeed

  • Self-motivated instincts with the ability to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment and consult with team members/management as needed

About the Linehaul Operations Intern job :

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Participate in team meetings and projects

  • Gain understanding and experience with various functions of the transportation and logistics industry

  • Participate in projects in the areas of logistics, network design, and transportation

  • Work with business process owners to identify and scope areas of opportunity

  • Build strong relationships and collaborations with senior leadership to support company goals

  • Develop hands-on experience with continuous improvement projects; utilize and enhance your problem-solving skills

  • Use data to analzye and root cause where operational opportunities exist
