On With Life Cook (Kitchen) in Ankeny, United States

This full-time Cook position works 5 days a week including every other weekend. In each 14-day pay period, you will work 8 weekdays and 2 weekend days. The typical shift is 11am - 7pm, though we have some flexibility on start and end times. Holidays are on a rotating schedule, Cooks work approximately 2-3 major or minor holidays per year (with special holiday pay).

Our Cook positions start at $16/hour for minimal experience. We do annual raises based on budget capacity, and you also have the opportunity for a discretionary bonus at your anniversary. The full-time Cook position is eligible for subsidized health and dental insurance, vision insurance, free life and long-term disability insurance, a 401k match, PTO and long-term sick pay, and other benefits. What do Cooks at On With Life do?

  • prepare and serve high quality, nutritious meals to persons served, families, guests and staff

  • adhere to person-specific dietary restrictions or needs

  • maintain a safe kitchen and dining space that adheres to facility, industry and regulatory standards
