Northway Irrigation Inc. is seeking to fill twelve (12) temporary, full-time seasonal Landscaping and Irrigation Laborers positions for April 1, 2025, to November 30, 2025. Worksite address: 4010 Bunker Lake Boulevard NE, Andover, MN 55304 and properties throughout Scott, Chisago, Anoka, Dakota, Hennepin, Washington, Isanti, Ramsey (MN) and St. Croix, Polk and Pierce in (WI) counties. Job Duties: Dig trenches for irrigation, install irrigation systems, and service systems. Dig holes with shovels about 8 inches deep and 12 inches round. The trenches are mostly 4 wide and 8 deep and 4 long is a typical trench which they lay 1 poly pipe but mostly flexible pipe to feed sprinkler heads. In approximately 5% of the jobs, workers may need to dig a maximum of 18 inches deeper to put in a PVC sleeve. It is still dug with a shovel. The trench may be 12 wide and 18 inches deep and 3 feet long. Requirements: No education, training or experience required. Special Requirements: Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Terms and conditions of employment: $21.30 - $25.00/hour (depending upon skill and/or experience), 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 6AM-5PM. Overtime hours may vary (estimated at 10 hours/week, depending upon weather and other conditions, and will be paid at $31.95 - $37.50/hour). Raises and/or bonuses may be offered based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Employees will be paid weekly on Friday. Workers will be provided with daily transportation to and from the worksite in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. On the job training available. Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Workers will travel from the worksite address to commercial and private properties throughout Ramsey, Washington, Dakota, Hennepin, Anoka, Chisago, Isanti, Scott, (MN) and Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix (WI) counties to perform services. Workers will be transported to daily worksite to client properties and will be transported back to the worksite at the end of the workday. The employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law. The employer does not envision other workforce-wide payroll deductions. Employer will assist workers in securing board, lodging, or other facilities. Pursuant Minnesota's earned sick and safe time (ESST) law, employer will provide each worker with one hour of ESST for every 30 hours worked, with the ability to accumulate at least 48 hours of ESST each year. Employer will assist workers in securing board, lodging, or other facilities. The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Three-fourths guarantee: T e employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
